We appreciate your participation in Juego de VOTERIA 2020 edition. Though we experienced some technical difficulties, I edited the footage and we absolutely rocked the evening! Thank you for contributing. Please watch for important issues discussed during the game and also check out the performances by Amalia, featuring photos of on-the-ground organizing in action. Every reference made throughout the VOTERIA is featured at the beginning and end while Amalia sings. www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JqmYeCKnWM

Votería: Culture to Engage Voters:
“We play Votería as a way to understand what’s at stake and how our voice & vote matters on important local issues. We lift-up grassroots organizing, those on-the-ground, working for long-term change." "It’s through culture that we can inform & empower. VOTERIA is a game where we 'put the issues on the table,' connect to our community and inspire a movement." Voteria debunks ‘my vote doesn’t matter.’ |

COVID-19 RELIEF
for Chamizal Families
Barrio Chamizal is one of the poorest neighborhoods in the nation, and the most immigrant populated community in the city of El Paso. During these times, we are supporting each other through mutual-aid efforts and for families who have suffered unexpected loss, we would like to offer this financial support.
Any and all donations are welcome and appreciated.
Prior to COVID-19, Barrio Chamizal was already in a fragile state. Our community is already disproportionately ignored, lacking basic resources and the digital divide, language barriers and lack of personal transportation all create real risks when managing a life-threatening pandemic. All these factors expose the vulnerability of our community pre-and-post COVID-19.
